Chilly day - clouded over every now and again.
Had early lunch and went to Lena.
I stayed till after 5 & got home at 6.10 to be rung by Nell Jordan, who said her Father has gone to Hospital; Mrs Wilkinson also at Aunt Lena's.
14 yrs. since she left here. I shd not have known her. She is duller than ever.
Started on last chap. of Essay again, but it is going to be hard going.
I'm shattered and fatigued.
Only prayer wd help me & I have the wrong kind of mind.
May also telephoned asking me to go tomorrow.
I had wanted to go today but the girls were busy painting the walls.
