Friday 4

Pleasant day till wind rose.
Went to town to Permanent Trustee with ½ of rent, then to pay a tiny bill to Percy Williamson to find the dear old gentleman had been buried yesterday.
To Newsreel.
To McIlwraith to buy a chook for Lena.
Then to Park Concert to find her for a few min.
Norman McVickers accosted me, going to send me his play.
On way home got Mrs F. to put chook in her Fridj [fridge].
I had to rest half an hour.
Then pitched in and did out my room, Lena's & bath room.
Telephoned Glen and asked her to come on Sunday.
