Icy day but fine.
Slaved till I felt sick getting ready for Lena.
Washed out kitchen, hall, breakfast room & lavatory.
In middle of it Joan Van Drempt & bro. Peter Browne called to show me her four children.
Fortunately they did not come in & I gave the children sweets.
Had to run telephone message to Mrs A. & she was weepy.
Ruby called on 'phone about tomorrow.
