Wet mild day.
Went down to inquire about Mrs Fogden & shew [show] her pictures of daffodils in England at Richmond & Sassoon's.
Showed Jack Andresen picture of Kings Chapel Cambridge & Mrs Morgan invited me to dinner.
Got back at 3 so fatigued that I lay down for afternoon.
In evening listened to radio & telephoned Glen.
Wasted, footling day.
It is monotonous and enervating to be everlastingly a self-starter, & then no success.
