Wild drenching day.
Gutters a banker, my daisies drowned.
Still faced by the Income Tax form.
Cleaned kitchen, lit fire.
Invited Mrs A to have a cup of tea at 3.45.
At 3.30 in rushed Dal with an 8,000 word political pamphlett which he read.
Got him tea.
Mrs A did not come.
He stayed till after 5.
Before that F. Knox kept me half an hour on phone, insists upon coming on Friday.
I don't feel up to it, O, for a little peace & ease!
Got form finished at 10. p.m.
