Fine day.
Lit fire in Kitchen at noon & continued writing the story for Pixie.
In evening went with Mrs B. to Hosp to see Mrs Klockov (?) & Mrs B. wasted an hr. sitting in the cold with her idea of the 'bus being the way to go.
Did not get home till 8.45.
One hr & ¼ on the way.
Fire out so I cleaned up both hearths & set fires.
Left the front room this morn while I went straight to writing.
Thought to rest a little in morning but had to get out in my pyjamas to call Mrs A. to the phone.
Telephoned Pixie.
Muir telephoned as I was going out.
Temperature at 5 p.m 99.8.
