Wrote well on the the children's memories & in the afternoon cut down a limb in front garden & chopped it up.
Had to lie down & let everything go & had only combed my hair on top & of course Vic & Ivy Pallot were on the doorstep without warning.
Oh, how I felt - to be seen in my mess!!
I thrashed around madly, made two beds, rushed up a scratch meal out of tins - Oh Lord! have mercy on me! !
