Fine day but not too warm, chilly in evening. May rang at 7 to say Etta B. was to be buried today. A little later Phyllis rang to say she & Thelma were going to look after Aunt Lena. I worked hard all day on Pixie's book & in garden & composed 2 letters for Mrs A. to Clive Evatt about job. Lent the Foleys The Lyre Bird book for a peep before I post it. Did a little ironing in evening.
