Chilly day - grey - slight showers in afternoon. Gerry turned up with Greg to mow lawn at 10 & got away by 1 p.m I washed out & polished sun room a[nd] swept up the grass. At 4 Win & Betty came & took me down to their new home for tea & evening. Lovely big house, well & tastefully furnished, a great achievement and the divinist views from the windows.
Gave Gerry a Jap fishing line
