spent in going via subway on my work
of examination and investigation. Until
the middle of the week we took our
meals at rue Raynouard and that
is across the city from the Hotel,
so a lot of time has been spent
in the subways. In other words,
I have been about Paris a great
deal but haven't seen much
of the city.--

There are 12 of the snaps
I am sending now. perhaps
none will get there. I hope all
will(!) I consider none of them
of military importance.
