refined sarcasm and yet there
be those who live in fear of mine.

The young lad of the
House of Woodward here
where we stay has just returned
from his Freshman year at
College and is the most conceited
mortal I ever knew. I didn't
know I'd been sarcastic to
him and he's only been here
three days but he told me to-
night he'd discovered that
he had to walk a pretty
straight mark or he called
down upon himself biting
sarcasm. Oh well it's good
for all of us.
