Dear Dad,

Rushing has ended and the Fijis had the good luck
to get almost all that they wanted which was quite good.

My trip up was plesent and uneventful, I'm glad
I took the route that I did, that is, the cut over at
Formosa and on up 101. There is only one really bad
part which is about the last ten or twelve miles into
Paso Robles, however, they are nearly completed with
construction on a new road there and it will wipe out
all of that narrow winding road into Paso Robles. I
think that this will make that route the only way to travel
north. The only other bad part was just before King
City, but I had no trouble there.

I am going to live in the house this semester as
I got the room that I wanted on the third deck away
from the noise and confusion of the house, I am rooming
with Terry Kelley, we have just finished fixing up the
room and making it as condusive to studying as possible
(placing of lights, desks, bood shelves and the like).

I went to see the dean yesterday as they had changed
my schedule a little, however, being a senior I can
more or less write my own ticket, which I did, and
everything worked out fine. I got what I wanted when
I wanted it. I will know more about the actual text of
the courses next week and will write you again as to
the general scope of them.
