Dear Mother & Daddy,

The kids are now in the bed and things are
quiet. Jim taped most of the patched sheetrock,
today, so the living-room walls look a little
less jagged. We're getting so close to completion
that a vision (?) of how it's going to look is actually
emerging thru the haze.

The wedding was lovely. You really outdid
yourselves. Even the last minute hitches went
smoothly. Thank you for making us so comfortable
& for all the goodies.

Uncle Krain has pretty good taste, an eye for
the practical as well as the beautiful. Looks
like he traded in his fly-swatter for a butterfly
net just in time. We had no idea last Nov.
that Krain would take so seriously Pooh's
inquiries about an aunt (All her other uncles have one).

Enclosed is the check for the stock. Thank
you for remembering us on Black Mon., or
was it Tues., or was it Blue. You timed it just
right, too. The exchequer can take a jolt
like that just about no oftener than every 6 mos.
I do think, however, that buying larger amounts
at opportune moments is a better arrangement
than the $40 per mo. deal, at least under
our present arrangement.

Pooh is going to Nursery School this summer,
two mornings per wk. Judy has arranged for rides
