A request has been received from Mr. G. LeQuesne, Tewantin, regarding
the names of five lakes in the Tewantin area which are said to have
aboriginal names. These lakes are called :-

Cooloola Cootharaba
Cooroibah Donella
Weyba

Please advise if the meanings of these aboriginal words are known to
you so that the necessary information may be passed on to Mr. LeQuesne.
