The Superitendent,
Aboriginal Settlement
Cherbourg, Qld.

Dear Sir,
In the current "Tangle-Towns" compe-
tition sponsord by the "Courier-Mail" there
appeared as puzzle No. 16 the group of letters
B R O O D J A N E which spell a Qld. town
bearing an aboriginal name meaning "A river
through a flat".
As I am not conversant with the aboriginal
language, and as I should love to get the
correct name of this town, I should be
very thankful if you could assist me.
Thanking you in anticipation,
I am. Yours Faithfully,
Eva Kleinig
