when all Immagined [imagined] the lay to

and we were almost devoured
by Muscatoes [mosquitoes] who assemble in
great numbers and are also very
large and we not been in a
possition [position] to make a defernce [difference]
they have every thing their own
way, on the Sacramento
there is a number of towns laid
