as to allow the Cattle to feed and
water untill [iuntil] the nesct [next] day as they
would have to travel over a
prearie [prairie] of 26 Mils [miles] with out [without] feed
or Water. We had to Carry
water for Our Own use but it
got quite disgusting in the
Course of the day from the great
heat of the Weather. The latter
part of our March the Country
became very uneaven [uneven] and the Road
very bad and bettween [between] the Scarcity
of Water and the dust we were
in a bad fisc [fix], hoever [however] we got
to the Mill on Monday night
