was the sentinel on the watch tower. to sound the alarm. and note of
-warning and lead the onslaught for peace and order. May we no t hope
that when all that was mortal of Charley Scott was sunk in the clods
of the valley. the good deeds of his life lighted up his path wat to
God. In conclusion I desire to express my thanks and many obligations
to his honor the Mayor. the muembers of the City Council and all offi-
cials of the city for kindnesses extended and especially the force. for
you know it is the men behind the guns that win the battles and make po
