After the Patient is brought to bed on the first Days If there is a
Sign of an Inflamation and Tumour give Internally Diaphoretics
and outwardly apply Rum or Brandy with a hot linning Cloth
and apply a Plaister of Empt. Commun. cum Sperm. Cit. et gum Camph.
The Milk should be drawn by the Nurse or by a Puppy.
If the Milk Stagnates without heat Bathe with warm Red Wine Spt
Vin. Camph. vel Cataplas. è Pan. alb. Vin. Rub. boiled together add
Spt. Vin. Camph. q. s.
If the Tumour tends to Supperation Use Emollient Cataplasms or
Empl. Commun. cum. gum. after which it is to be opened and Cleansed
with a Digestive Ointment and healed with Balsamics particularly
Bals. peruv.
When the Nipples are Chapped anoint with a Mixture of Ol. and
Bees wax, or Sprinkle gm Arab thereon, or apply aq. .
