Yaws

The Yaws is a Distemper
endemical to Guinea
and the Hoter Climates in
Africa, all are liable
to it but more especially
Childhood or Youth

When you are Convinced a
patient has got the Yaws
Rx. Flor. Sulph. s. j. Camph. in
Spt. Vin. Solut. Gr v. Theriac
Androm. dr. j. Syr. Croci. q. s. M.
F. Bolus hora Somni Sumend
Repeat this every Night 'till
the Yaws come to their Heighth
that is when they nither
increase in Size nor Number
then put the patient into
a Gentle Salivation by
Merc. dulc and Continue it
pro re nata.

Zona ignea or Shingles

When a Malignant Herpes Seizes the Breast and
Precordia and incircles the Body like a Belt of
a Hands Breadth it is called Zona ignea or the
Shingles
This may arise from an Ulcer of the Leg's being
ill Cured
