Take 1li of Brisk Cynomon bruse it & put it into a glasse
and halfe of good cannary, halfe a peck of Damask Rose leaves
Keep them close stopt for 12 hours then still it in a warmlymbeck
& sweeten it with the best double refined suger just sweet; with
3 spoonfull of Rosewater/

A Water to Clear a Sunburne

Take Beane Blossomes Elder Blossomes Bassie Roots
& fimitory of each handfull, & put them into a glasse
with a quart of spring water, & the juce of 4 leamons, &
halfe a pint of white wine 1 lb of camphore set ym in
the hott sun 4 days, & then straine into aother glass
for your use/

To Make a Cherry Water

Take 2lb of Kentish cherries pick of the stalks & bruse
the stones, put them to 2 quarts of white wine 2 ounces of
cynomon brused 2 nutmegs sliced a handfull of balme
as much sweet margorum, & the topps of Rosemary
put all those into an earthen pott staple close all night
the next morning still them in an ordinary still, you may
take 6 spoonfull of Red Rosewater & disolve the sugar
in it & sweeten your water with it, take of this water 3 or 4
spoonfulls at a time, with a spoonfull of the sirrup
of Clove Gilliflowers at any time when you find your
