Monday, Feb 9, 1914
Very cold day. Thank God my darling
Ethel returned. Mr Holley made two calls
Wm B.L. made one. Louisa Mittelstadt called.
Went to La Salle St Station to see Mrs
Robins off at 5. Had dinner at Ursula
back to office & home. Very hungry new
& wonderful sensation. Fried eggs &
tomatoes & ate them.

Tuesday 10
Walked to office at 10. Lunch with Ethel at
Hearth. Louisa, Editha & others called. At
4 I went to see Mr Root. He put me in
communication with Mrs Fieldcamp & I
arranged for lesson on Friday. Back to office
then to Ursula for dinner. Came home
hungry again. Fried egg & tomato

Wednesday 11
Very sick in pain most of day & unable
to eat. In evening had dinner with
Ethel at Ursula and went to first
speaking class at School of C. & P.
Very sick got home & fell to
bed in pain & suffering fever.
