Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1914
Got to office at 9.30. Wm B made a
flying call. I went to Hotel Sherman with
Demmy at 10.30 & stayed talking on Mezzanine
floor till 12. Parted in anger. He was a conceited
& inexplicable boor in every way, but interest-
ing study. Shall pursue him for copy. Miss H Ethel,
Editha & I lunched Mrs W. Lister at Delvies.
Speaking class at night.

Thursday 19
Got down at 10. Worked on March dummy.
Miss Henry & I lunched the Watson Listers at
Fields & at 5.30 saw them off at La Salle
st Stn. Dinner at Hearth with
Editha & then came home. Wm B.L.
called on me in morning but I was out so I
called on him & invited him & Ethel to dinner
with me next Wednesday.

Friday 20
Went to Saul's at 8. Ethel came to the
Fair & had lunch with me. I went to Mrs
Fieldcamp at Kimball Hall & had first singing
lesson. Back to Saul's till 5.20. Then to
office. Dinner with Miss Henry at Ursula
& came home. Editha called. I was very
tired and weak.
