Saturday, Feb. 21, 1914
Warm day - thawing.
Got to office at 9. Finished "L & L." for Mar.
Lunch with Ethel at Hearth. Got home
at 3 & slept exhausted till 7.30.
Practised singing lesson & piano for
an hour. Cooked my own supper.
Pottered and went to bed. Wm. B. L.
made a short call in morning.

Sunday 22
Got up at 9.30. Made red hat &
trimmed little black one. practised singing lesson. Turned out trunk
read newspapers & pottered. Wild
blizzard all day. Windows frozen.
Went to Lincoln Parkway for dinner.
Editha came in but went out again.

Monday 23
Room so cold then window being
out I couldn't stand it & had to go to office
tho a holiday. Went to Miss O'Connell
to have red dress fitted then came back
& shopped for red dress. Lun[ch] at Hearth.
In office during afternoon. Mrs R.
came in with 2 pupils, Louise & Myrtle.
I had supper with them at Hearth &
came home to beastly cold room.
Still blowing a N. E. blizzard - Cold!!
