Sunday, Mar. 8, 1914
Rose at 10.30 & pottered. Walked to
League meeting with J.J. Forstall & his
friend. Walked home with Editha
& cooked a meal for her. She
stayed till 9.30. I was tired
so once more accomplished
nothing but went to bed. Shall
try to force myself up in the morning.

Monday 9
Got down at 9.30. Went to hear Waitresses'
case but it was too crowded to get in. Lunch
at Carson Piries with Ethel. All afternoon
in court. Miss Stair, Elizabeth, Mrs Ickes
etc. on stand. Dinner at Hearth
& walked home. Rested till 8.
Washed head and pottered.

Tuesday 10
Went to Miss O'Connell at 8.30 for
fitting then to office. Lunch at Hearth
with Ethel. Dinah Podlivna came
in & announced she had married
Louis Wolfe the previous Wed. Mrs R.
in twice. Worked on sending out
circulars. Dinner alone at
Randolph. Feeling dispirited.
