Saturday, Mar. 14, 1914
Got down early very busy. Lunch
with Miss Galvin at Hearth. At 2.30 went
to local office & then Mrs Robins & had tea
at Fields & went to McClurg's. I went back
to office & worked on letters asking funds to
move to bigger suite. Dinner at Hearth
late with Editha & walked home. Ill again
in the old way from overwork.

Sunday 15
Got up at 11 a.m. & went to hear Zueblin's [Charles Zueblin] lecture on H.D. Lloyd at Ethical Culture Soc.
Came home ate a little & went to
bed. Got up at 4 & went out for castor
oil & blackberry brandy. Went to
bed early feeling very weak. A
lovely, lovely day. I walked out in
my red dress without a coat.

Monday 16
Got down early & put in a whirlwind
day with various league responsibilities. Miss H.
Miss G & I took Zona Gale to luncheon at School
of Dom. Arts & S. I was sick all day in the
old way. Got home exhausted. Rested
till washwoman came then practiced a
little. Heard of Mrs Corinne Brown's death.
