Tuesday, Mar. 17, 1914
Got down at 10. Went to Dr Schiff for filling
at 10.30. Worked on dummy for April &
arrangements for school pupils. Sick
still. Lunch with Ethel at Hearth.
Heard of Mary Miller's death. Dinner at
Hearth with Misses Pischel, Phelps &
Levinger. Colder towards evening &
a little snow. Warmest 17th Mar. since I have been in America.

Wednesday 18
Busy morning. Went to Dr E Van
Hoesen for throat treatment. Went to
Printers from 1 till 5.15. returned to
office thence to Hearth for dinner.
Editha came in with Lillian Carr
so I took them to speaking class. Came
home at 8 & went to bed mortally
exhausted. Had a touch of
grippe.

Thursday 19
Wd have sold my soul to stay in bed but
struggled out to Printer at 8. Lunch
with Ethel at Hearth. Met about School
pupils during afternoon. Wrote
some letters. Dinner at Hearth
alone. Came home cleaned up a
little & went to bed.
