Monday, Mar. 23, 1914
Got down at 9.45. Went to other
office for meeting about giving organizers
to A.F. of L. [American Federation of Labor] Lunch with Miss G & Miss H. at Hearth. Did some dictating.
Then Miss O'Neil & I went to local
office again & made sandwiches for
girls who came to hear Mr Holly on
Judicial procedure. Walked home with
Miss O'Neil at 8. Exhausted went to bed.

Tuesday 24
Got down at 9.45. Wrote Mrs G. about
Mag-Marjorie. Lunch at Hearth with Miss
G. & then walked to Orchestra Hall for tickets &
back. Got several letters off & dictated
to Miss O'Neil. Phil Brown called and
made a nice visit. I rang up &
learned Mrs Potter was the same as
yesterday. Dinner at Hearth alone &
walked home.

Wednesday 25
Got down at 9.45. Joy! Ethel returned.
Lunch with Miss G. at Hearth. Very
busy afternoon dictating. Lola called up & said she wd. be glad to have me out & to bring Freda Maynard. Dinner with Miss G at Henrici's on Mich. Bl. Thence to speaking class. Made a speech & was applauded. Mrs Kendall made a long call. Miss Peck called up & said Mrs Potter had died at 1.40 p.m.
