Wednesday, April 1, 1914
Got down at 10. Had lunch at Prog-
ressive Club with Miss Mason & Mrs
Armstrong. Dictated letters to
Miss O'Neil during afternoon. Very
sleepy & tired. Dinner at Henrici's on
Mich. with Miss H. & Helen Sullivan
& went to Public Speaking class. Spoke
on colored wigs.

Thursday 2
Got down at 10.30. Lunch at Hearth alone.
Pottersome day accomplished precious
little. Mrs Glendower Evans came in at
5 and kept us talking about suffrage plans
to defeat Anna Shaw till 6.20. Previous to that
Annie Colm had called for an hour. Dinner
at Hearth with Editha & Lily Bruemerhof & walked
home with them. Wore fur coat & glad of it.
Editha came up to my house for laundry.
Washed head.

Friday 3
Got down at 9.45 & dictated to Miss
O'Neil. Lunch at Henrici's on Mich with Ethel
& her friend thence to singing lesson. Mrs
Curry-Dell called during morning.
Dinner at Hearth alone & walked home.
Cold day - glad of fur coat. Depressed &
exhausted but determined to peg along
to the last ditch.
