Monday, April 13, 1914
Came in on 8.24. Went to Waitresses & helped with leaflet. Mr Martin called during afternoon to talk about Haag's work. Miss
Henry & I had dinner at Hearth. Received offer for "Net of Circumstance". Wrote accepting it. Very tired took veranal to get to sleep.

Tuesday 14
Got down at 9.30. Went to post office. Lunch at Hearth alone. Miss Galvin came back in afternoon & Mr Martin called. I worked on Life and Labor. Dinner at Hearth with Miss Galvin. Then I came home and cut 56 pages out of Net of Circumstance in 3 hours & went to bed. Slept well all night naturally.

Wednesday 15
Stayed in bed & refurbished 4 chaps. [chapters] of Net of C. Miss Browne came out & cooked me an egg for lunch. Miss Henry came out at six & I cooked her some eggs etc. & we went over Life and Labor stuff and then she went to speaking class. I cleaned up & went to bed at 9.30
