Wednesday, April 22, 1914
Got down at 10. Started work on dummy. Chas. Haag made a long call over an hour so did Mr. Martin & Mary Gray Peck. For lunch went to Art Institute with Kathleen Ussher & introduced her to Miss Van Horne. Dinner at Hearth with Miss H & Miss Galvin & walked home. Very exhausted.
Cold day. Washed head.

Thursday 23
Went to Saul's at night. Back to office at lunch. Mr Haag & Mr Martin had called. Commission had decided against Haag. Back to Saul's then to Dr Schiff at 3.30. Miss Galvin & I had dinner at Hearth & then went to see John Drew in "The Will" & "The Tyranny of Tears."

Friday 24
Got down at 10.30. Wm B. L. called & took me to lunch on Mich Ave. We did the block after. Then I went to singing lesson & bank. Warm showery day. Dinner at Hearth alone & walked home. Pretty exhausted but worked a little. Mr Martin called but I was out.
