Got down at 9.30. Lunch at Hearth with Miss H, Miss G. & E. Schmidt got home at 3.30 & slept till 5. Pottered & worked a little went to bed at 9.30 very tired. Very warm sunny day. Mr Martin called in morning & gave me particulars of judgment against Haag's sketch.

Sunday 26
Got up at 8. Worked till 3. Went to Alma Gluck concert with Miss Galvin. Thence to supper at Art Institute and did the galleries. Thence to Sunday eve. service in Orchestra Hall but escaped before the lecture & got home at 9. Bright day but a chill wind blowing. lilac bushes budding on Superior St.

Monday 27
Sick all night from over- exhaustion. Stayed in bed till 11.30 & then went to office. So weak, could just keep up by sheer strength of will. Dinner at Hearth & walked home with Alice Boynton. Warm day with heavy showers. Willow tree in back yard quite leafy
