Tuesday, June 16 [written over 9], 1914
Lunch with Mrs Gilman, Margery Currey, Miss H., Prof Ross et al at the Woman's Club & then went to Zona Gale's conference in the Auditorium. Suffering agony with my tooth. Just sick & worn out with pain. Went to bed with a hot water bottle. Worked till 10 trying to forget.

Wednesday 17 [written over 10]
After a night of intense suffering thru an abscess on my tooth went to Dr Miller at 11 & almost fainted. Then to office & to Auditorium to Civic Luncheon as guest of Zona Gale Mrs Gilman & others. Back to office & slept on chairs. Dinner at Hearth alone & walked home. Took salts & went to bed weak but not in so much pain.

Thursday 18 [written over 11]
Very weak went to Dr Miller at 10. Almost fainted again so he did nothing. Made up July dummy. Mary Anderson & I had lunch at Hearth. Had a sleep on chair during afternoon. G. Webster from Melbourne called. Sent by Ross of "Barrier Truth". Dinner at Hearth alone & walked home.
