Friday, June 12, 1914
Very cool day. Ethel & I traipsed to Suffrage headquarters. Had singing lesson at 1.30. In evening Miss H. & I had dinner at Hearth & went to Auditorium and heard the great speech by Carrie Chapman Catt.

Saturday 13
Very cool day. Went to bank. At 2.30 came home & slept & slept & cd. not wake till 6.30 when I went to banquet in Gold room Congress Suffrage festival. Home at 11.45. Rained all afternoon & that silenced sparrows so I cd. sleep. Never had a birthright but wd. sell it for a month's sleep.

Sunday 14
Stayed in bed till 1. Arose & ate. Practised vocally & went to Biennial memorial services in Auditorium. Mrs Gilman spoke for Mrs Potter. Walked home had supper in my room. Typed & went to bed at 10.30. Weak as a kitten. Oh for rest eternally.
