Nice warm day. Lunch at Hearth
with Miss Henry. Took 3:15 train
to Oak forest. Very tired & not well.
Mr. Mullenbach met me & took
care of me till Mrs Mullenbach
came home at nine. No sleep
all night because a door was
slapping.

Sunday 28
Children came to bed with me.
In the afternoon Mr & Mrs M.
and I walked all over the farm &
saw the potter's field. Sat up
talking late at night. It turned
remarkably cold. Got a
good night's sleep.

Monday 29
Came into town at 11. C. Hunt came
during the afternoon & we had dinner
at Hearth, She then walked home with
me to the door & left. I had a sleep
& then Fred came and gave
me my first lesson in
automobiling. I managed the
wheel for a couple of hours.
