Went to bank & p.o. In evening Miss Henry & I went to Lakota Hotel to meet Zona Gale & her friend Mrs Shears & a Miss Jenner. Had a pleasant time talking cause.
Got home at 11.30
Went to Dr Miller at 4. p.m.
Friday 31
Tired got down at 11 did some shopping for Miss H. Lunch with Ethel at Carson P's & Co. Wrote letters. Dinner at Hearth alone & walked home. Practised & typed a little. Very weak.
Saturday, Aug. 1
Got down at 9 went to bank et. Left office at 1.30. Rested all afternoon. Went north for singing lesson at 7.30. Fred called at 8.30. Car broke down so I went to Mrs Pischel till it was mended then Fred & I went on to Lak[e] Front xx [indecipherable squiggle]
xxx Got home at 1.45
