Got down early. Worked on Dummy etc. Lunch with Miss H. at Hearth. Dinner there with Miss O'N & 2 Australian girls & walked home with them. Fred came at 8 & we went driving. Very cold. talked on Eric St. xxxxx [the previous 5 kisses are written above Eric St.'] Home at 10.45. Fred had a puncture & fixed it.

Wednesday 23
Got down at 8.30 went to Dr Miller. Lunch with Olive at Cafeteria & called on City Ed. of Herald. Went to Saul's till 5.15. Back to office. Then to Tribune to meet Harriet Ferril who took me to dinner at Alice's Place. Home & to bed tired.

Thursday 24
Went to Saul's at 8. lunch at Naomi & back to Saul. To office meeting at 2.30. Mrs Ickes & Miss Fabian called to see me. Went to meet Emma P. at Union Depot at 5.00. Back to office. Dinner at Hearth & walked home with Miss Siegsmund. Very tired.
