Friday, Sept. 25, 1914
Went shopping at 8.30 to Dr Miller at nine. He finished me & mended the bull [bill?] & I paid him $140.00 on acct. Went to singing at 1.30. To other office etc. Leonora P. Miss H & I had dinner at Ontra & went to hear Mrs Pelham at Stenographers. Round by office for cream & home. Very tired.

Saturday 26
V. full day. Went to Ohio & Paulina sts. at 6.45 to picket embroidery workers with Sister Emma. Then to office. Then to Conference at N.W. branch till 5.30. Into town with Mrs R. Dinner at the Sherman Hse. & back to Conference. Home via office & to bed very tired at 10.30. Got a beastly cold.

Sunday 27
V. warm day. Did feminine chores. Went to store for food. Miss Henry came in evening & we went to 4th Pres. Church & listened to Rev. Stone holding forth. Same old stuff I heard in Bush nothing to satisfy intelligence or common sense.
