Another lovely summer day
P.S.W came & gave me a lecture Played with William during forenoon. Girls & a party to number of 8 had lunch together. I walked home with Mrs Black & had a beautiful sleep from 3 to 5. Wrote until supper. After supper washed head & pottered & didn't get to sleep till long past midnight.

Friday 23
Just pottered around & wrote something. Fretful & finding life in general a hoax. S.P.W came in the evening and gave me a voluntary treatment so that I slept well all night. Anne Withington rang me up & invited me out for the next day.

Saturday 24
Met Anne W. for lunch at 1 at Industrial Union. Afterwards went to library & to call on Mrs Fitzgerald and walked around Jamaica Pond & home. Supper & some writing and to bed. Still lovely weather.
