Saturday, Oct. 31, 1914
Met Nancy at C.S.P.S.& went to Rowe's
Wharf. Had lunch in N. Stn. Thence to
Amesbury to see Edith Malyon
Went over to Mrs Porters to sleep.
It was a bright day. Mrs
Clement, Edith's landlady very
charming.

Sunday, Nov. 1
Got up at noon assisted by Doris
Porter aged 10. Talked to Porters awhile &
then went to Clement's for dinner.
Drove after dinner, down the
Merrimac & by Haveril [Haverhill] & Merrimac
etc. Lovely warm day. Came home
on evening train.

Monday, 2
Stayed in bed till noon. After lunch
went with Mrs Black on a great
shopping expedition & took her to
tea at Filene's & saw some of the
new dancing. In the evening
Geraldine began to draw my picture.
