Sunday, Nov. 15, 1914
Grey day on train. Slept late & drowsed thru the day. Head of the diner an Englishman so he gave me special privileges. Arrived at Union Stn. at 9 & got home about half past. Poor old 200 E. Superior now dirty & dreary after 1822 Pine St. Phila.
Monday 16
Very cold day. Went to office at 10 & was received with great joy by Editha [previous word crossed out] Ethel & Miss H. Went to lunch with Ethel. Called up Editha & met at Hearth. Another joyous meeting walked home & stayed with Editha till late talking over her European experiences.
Tuesday 17
Walked to office feeling supertoploftical.
Went to bank called on Margaret Haley etc. Met Editha at Hearth at supper. Walked home & put away my things. Sorry that holiday times are done. Hoping they come soon again.
