Exceptionally warm day.
Got down at 11. Billy came in during afternoon & made a long call. Fred appeared too but couldn't see him owing to B. Miss H. Miss Pischel Editha & I were invited to Hull Hse. for dinner to meet Mrs Lawrence & Mrs Rosika Schwimmer. We spent a terrific evening over the war.
Wednesday 25
Got down at 11.30. Ethel & I had lunch at Hearth. Olive Sullivan called . Astonishingly warm day. Dinner at Hearth alone & walked home & worked on story.
Thursday 26
Walked down Mich. Ave in cream cashmere dress without coat. Dinner at Dr Youngs other guests: Dr Bennett, Dr Town Mr & Mrs Juvenal. Went to Pischel for supper then Editha, Fred, Miss H. & I accompanied Frau Schwimmer to Hull Hse. & Fred dropped E. & I on the way home.
