Colder. Got down at 10. office meeting of "Life & Labor". Wm B. called in morning about peace notice & again in afternoon. Miss H. & I had lunch at Hearth. Dinner there alone & walked home. Sick again. Same old story when fatigue steps in.

Friday 4
Sick with a cold got in at 10.30. Wm B. called with press notices about peace meeting. Lunch with Miss H. at Hearth. N.W.C.A. class called in the afternoon. Bill made a long call in a quarrelsome mood. I called Fred & then went to Hearth alone & walked home. Much colder.

Saturday 5
Wild day. Went to peace meeting at 11.30 Previously went to Dr E. Van Hoosen [Hoesen] for my throat & took Ethel to get a mote out of her eye. Went from peace meeting to League luncheon in Masonic Temple & walked home. Fred called up at six & said he was coming to take me to theatre at 8 but he never appeared Wonder what happened the blundering donkey. Came at 9.10
