Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1914
Wild day. Little snow hail falling all the time. Ethel & I had lunch at Hearth. Life & Labor meeting at 166 W. Washington for girls to meet Mrs Carnavale. Dinner with Editha at Hearth & walked home in the wet. Worked on story on Wm B's machine & went to bed.

Thursday 10
Snow - quite thick on Superior St. so that pavements had to be cleared. Mrs Galvin took me to lunch at Field's. Dinner at Hearth alone and walked home. Fred was to call me before 5. I called him at 5.30 & he said he was very unwell. Worked on story on Wm B's machine.

Friday 11
Went to O'Hara's Legislative conference at Congress Hall. Thence to lunch at Eat Shop & to get piano & via banks back to office. Pottered thru afternoon doing nothing. In evening had dinner with Miss H. at Hearth and went to Stenographer's meeting. Home at 8.30 & put belt on typewriter which Wm B. had left in my office during morning.
