Cold in morning.
Ethel & I had afternoon tea at Dearborn Inn. I went to Dr Van Hoesen at noon & thence to Hearth for lunch. Wrote letters & pottered. Walked home & cooked chop in my room & worked on last chapter of Red Cross story.
Wednesday 16
Editha & I had lunch at College Club. Wm B. called to discuss Lola's wages. I'm sorry for Lola & absolutely against Bill. Editha & I had dinner at Hearth & then we went home to her room to discuss writing a play. Went to see Elizabeth Maloney in afternoon.
Thursday 17
Wm B. called in morning. Miss H & I had lunch for Mrs Ellis & Sch. of Dom. Science. Editha Emma, Ethel & Rose Brown present. Then we went to meet Christabel P. at Woman's Club. Back to office & heard Fraulein Stallbohm was dead. Dinner at Hearth with Miss H & Editha & walked home with latter.
