Friday, Dec. 18, 1914
Lunch with Miss Henry at Hearth Went to singing lesson at 1.30 Dinner with Editha at Hearth then to College Club. Then to Southern Club to hear Rosika Schwimmer. Snowing nicely.
Saturday 19
Went to peace meeting at City Club. Rosika Schwimmer, [Still?Stitt?] Wilson, Jane Addams, David Starr Jordan, Harriet Monroe & others talked. We were there from 12 till 4.30. Went to local League then had supper at Dearborn & went to library to read with Editha & came home together.
Sunday 20
Wonder of wonders, we seem to have a decent housekeeper. Warm day snowing gently. I went out to the shop at 11. Stayed in my room all the rest of the day. Pottered & finished story about Red Cross nurse & Armored Chauffeur.
