Wm. B. came in & had a talk with me
& gave a lovely bottle of perfume.
He came in again & talked to Ethel & me.
We all had dinner in Miss H's room
& distributed presents. Miss Seiler & Miss
O'N. sister & Miss B. the guests. Wm B.
sent us in a big box of candy &
kissed Miss H. & Ethel under the
mistletoe. At five I met Edith at at library Pkway
tea room where she took me to dinner.

Friday 25

In room all day. Corrected MS
of Red C. Nurse etc. ready for
typing. Quite alone. Never
said a word to any one or
saw a soul all day. Did
not go off 4th floor.

Saturday 26

Went down to office at 9 & stayed
till noon. Wm B. took me to
lunch at Congress Hotel. After I
walked home & began typing Red
Cross story for agent. Dinner in
room. I invited Wm B. to take
lunch with me on Boxing Day next
year.
