[continued from previous page] is postponed for tomorrow. Also office meeting to consider Zona Gales offer of making "L&L" a dept of "Survey". Miss Hoban took me to gynnasium in Turner Hall from 8 to 9.15 Letter from D. but didn't open.

Thurs. 4
At 10.30 a number of us went to see S. Gompers at Mollison Hotel. Thence to meeting in office. Wrote letters & went to Dr Van H. with eye. In evening we had dinner at Hearth & went to hear Mrs Havelock Ellis. Met Mrs Muther, Editha's friend.

Fri. 5
Got down at 9.30. Lunch with Miss G. at Hearth & went to singing lesson. Pottered in office ineffectually. Miss G. Editha & I had dinner at Hearth. I walked home alone. Thawing. practised a little.

Sat. 6
Walked down in snow. In afternoon Miss G & I went to see Miss Browne. Dinner with Editha at Hearth and went to Thomas Concert. Met Arnold Dresden & Mrs Maynard there. Getting a bit colder.
