Feeling all right again. Wm B. came in to say goodbye previous to going to California. Ethel & I had lunch at Hearth. Did nothing all day practically. Dinner at Hearth Alone & walked home. Got an idea for a story. S. Boynton walked home with me.
Fri. 19
Pottered in office. Mrs R. came in and abused us spreading sickening disharmony. Editha & Mr Crump, Miss H & I had dinner at Hearth Walked home alone
Sat. 20
Pottered in office. Frightful day of grievous depression. Had dinner with Editha & walked home. Felt too depressed to live. Read a book of Jack London's
