Thurs. 15
Miss Pischel came in & we had lunch together at the Ursula. Miss Galvin & I went to hear a lecture on "Twilight Sleep" at Rothchild's. Great sign of the times. Warm day. Tired. An ineffectual profitless day.
Fri. 16
Chilly day. Lunch with Editha & Llewellyn Jones at Hearth.
Singing lesson at 1.30 went to bank etc. Dinner at Hearth alone. Walked home & fell to bed exhausted never woke till 9.
Sat. 17
Wrote peace article for "Life & Labor". Miss Galvin & I had lunch at Domestic Science. Ethel came in and I took her to tea. In evening Miss G & I went to Hull Hse. Cafe for dinner & saw "War Brides".
